How to join
Joining our organization is extraordinarily simple! Your first step is going to be joining or organization's page on Facebook. In addition, we also have an orgsync page that we encourage people to use because it allows us to make sure that our club advertisements aren't being made available to non Texas Tech students. We do check everyone that tries to join the Facebook page (you can navigate to the page by clicking on the Facebook icon located at the top of this page), but we can sometimes miss things - we're human after all! However, if Facebook is not your thing and you would prefer to receive an email, don't hesitate to shoot us an email at [email protected] requesting for your email to added to our list. Don't worry, we promise not to SPAM you! All of our announcements are sent out to everyone on our email list as well. Also, if you want your email taken off our list at any time then we will be more than happy to remove you!
Once you join one of our pages or get on our email list, you will receive notifications for our meetings. We have two general meetings to start off the semester, one primary and one secondary for those who miss the first. Both of these meetings are within the first 3 weeks of school. You will need to attend at least one of these general meetings if you want to become an official member of the club. The following are the requirements we have for anyone to be considered a member of our organization.
We're honestly not that exclusive of an organization. We leave the exclusivity to the honors societies and the $800.00 per month fraternities! You must pay your dues before going on your first trip! Once your dues are paid you can attend any trip or Tech Ski and Snowboard function!
