How to sign-up for trips
In order to sign up for our trips, you have to meet a few requirements. First, you must be an official member of Tech Ski and Snowboard. Unlike other campus organizations, we don't require you to complete community service hours. However, we do host community service events throughout the semester to help give back to the community that has helped to provide us with our college home. We do require that members be students at Texas Tech University, be in good academic standing with the university, and pay $25.00 dues.
To sign up for the trip, you must first attend the pre-trip meeting - date/time/location announced at a minimum of one week prior to the trip. At this meeting, we require you to sign a liability waiver and a driver's liability waiver if you plan on being one of the drivers. For drivers, we reduce the cost of the trip by taking out the travel expenses. After all, if you're offering up your car for a 1,000+ mile trip, you deserve a little compensation! In addition, you have to pay an initial deposit - dependent on the cost of the travel and hotel expenses. The initial deposit is due at the pre-trip meeting. If you can't make the pre-trip meeting, we have the online payment option through Paypal. The lift-tickets are purchased individually at the resort or online.
